7 Chakras Of The Earth: Points And Map

If you’ve ever done yoga, or experimented with ayurvedic medicine, you’ve probably heard about the 7 chakras of the body. In this article, you’ll discover that there are earth chakra points too and you’ll find out more about the Earth chakras map that will point you towards the 7 chakras of the Earth that hold such impressive spiritual powers.

What Are Chakras?

The chakras are the energy centres running through our bodies from the crown chakra above our heads to the base of the spine. Each one is characterised by its own colour and they each have feminine and masculine energies.

Our chakras contain our desires, sense of purpose and security, our self-worth, and our voices, among other things. The origins of the system of chakras can be traced by to the Vedas, an authoritative Hindu text, which dates back to the second millennium BCE. It can also be found in Tantric Buddhism.

Most people who are aware of the chakras know that chakras require healing. Everybody has been through heartbreak, has suffered from low confidence or felt they weren’t sufficient, has found it impossible to voice their fears, or felt disconnected from time to time, and healing the chakras holds the answer to resolving those emotional issues.

What Are The Earths Chakras?

While most people are aware that chakras exist in the human body, they aren’t aware of the Earths chakras. The 7 chakras of the earth are the planet’s primary power points and they mimic the human body’s chakra points.

There is a belief that, if we visit the earth chakra points and spend time there, our bodies’ energy frequency aligns with the Earths chakras’ energy, creating a strong spiritual experience.

The chakras of the Earth are similar to an energy vortex, but energy vortexes may be anywhere on the planet that has more energy than usual, while the chakras of the Earth the most powerful Earth energy vortexes. There is some debate about the precise locations on the Earth chakras map, but there are a few sites that are universally agreed on.

You may experience dreams about these locations, or feel drawn to them for an inexplicable reason, even if you’ve never been there before. That could be a sign that your chakras are in need of alignment.

What Are The 7 Chakras?

Each chakra has its own Sanskrit name and relates to a specific area of the body. The seven Earth chakras each relate to one of those Sanskrit names and body areas.

  • Muladhara – The Root Chakra – this is the primary and first chakra, found at the spine’s base. Linked with the element earth and the colour red, it is believed to impact on how you connect with the world and how you control the feelings of dependency, stability, ambition, and survival.

It is the primary energy source and when it is unbalanced, it leads to deep insecurity and fear that can negatively affect your urge to succeed and can cause a lack of purpose and a feeling of frustration. When balanced, however, the root chakra creates feelings of positivity, security, strength, independence, and energy.

  • Svadhishthana – the Sacral Chakra – located beneath the navel, this chakra is linked with the element of water and the colour orange and is responsible for intuitiveness, creativity, self-worth, sexuality, adaptability, and compassion.

If unstable, the sacral chakra causes a loss of creativity, an obsession with sex, and emotional outbursts.

  • Manipura – the solar plexus chakra – this chakra’s Sanskrit name means “city of jewels”. It’s found between the naval and ribcage and is linked with the element of fire as well as the colour yellow. This chakra is the centre of your self-esteem as well as emotions such as aggression, anger, and ego.

Physically, it presents through liver and digestive issues, and diabetes. Emotionally, it causes low self-esteem and depression when imbalanced, but when in balance it produces confidence, productivity and positive energy.

  • Anahata – the heart chakra – linked with the lungs and heart, this chakra lies at the centre of your cardiovascular system and connects the lower and higher chakras together. Its colour is green while it is associated with the element of air, and it is linked with passion, trust, compassion, and love.

When imbalanced, it causes distrust, fear, jealousy, anxiety, moodiness, and anger. When overactive, it causes heart problems, palpitations, and hypertension.

  • Vishuddha – the throat chakra – this chakra controls the tongue, neck, throat, and mouth. Associated with the element air, its colour is blue and it is linked with confidence, communication, and self-expression.

When balanced, this chakra regulates hormonal flow and helps our inner thoughts to be expressed positively.

  • Ajna – the 3rd eye chakra – this chakra is located between our eyebrows and is linked with the colour indigo whole having no elemental associations. Typically used as the focal point for asana practice, the chakra of the third eye controls the intuition, intellect, spiritual power, and wisdom.

When the third eye chakra is balanced and open you can notice connections both in the world and beyond it. When underactive, this chakra manifests as blurry vision, migraines, and headaches.

  • Sahastrara – the crown chakra – this chakra is on the top of your head and is the highest chakra with a colour of either white or violet. Sometimes called the “thousand petal lotus” chakra, it’s the central chakras’ most spiritual point.

When open, this chakra connects us to our higher selves as it’s a place of energetic thoughts, enlightenment, and spirituality. It is also connected to the cosmos and inner wisdom. If out of balance, this chakra influences depression, frustration, destructive emotions, and disconnection from the world.

Each one of these chakras is connected with an Earth chakra. The shamanic supply experts here at Astral Magick will outline here which site is linked with each one.

Mount Shasta, California – Root Chakra

On the human body the Muladhara, or Root chakra, is found at the bottom of the spine, rooting the person to themselves and the Earth.

Mount Shasta in California embodies this chakra in its physical form. Native American tribes have believed for centuries in the spiritual nature and healing powers of this dormant volcano and its grounding power can be felt when you visit this site.

Lake Titicaca – Sacral Chakra

Bordering both Bolivia and Peru, Lake Titicaca is said to have a connection with Svadhishthana, the Sacral chakra of the human body. As the largest of South America’s lakes, Lake Titicaca is also very navigable, and it’s possible to sail through the waters with very little resistance.

There is a lot of mythology associated with this lake, and it has even been suggested that it was the birthplace of mythological royals. The lake emits both masculine and feminine qualities and is the core of self-expression and creativity just like the human body’s sacral chakra.

Uluru – The Solar Plexus Chakra

The Manipura or Solar Plexus chakra on the human body is said to be found in physical form on the Earth at Uluru – an incredibly sacred World Heritage Site that attracts countless visitors every year.

Uluru is one of Australia’s most sacred and powerful places. This site has an impressive energy that can help visitors to re-energise and reach their own higher selves.

Stonehenge – The Heart Chakra

The Heart chakra of Anahata can be found in physical form on the Earth at Stonehenge and the nearby areas of Shaftesbury and Glastonbury.

With its almost mythical qualities, Stonehenge has an impressively long history and it isn’t too surprising that it’s linked with healing and compassion as well as giving and forgiveness – the key traits that the Heart chakra is responsible for.

Mount Sinai, The Great Pyramid Of Giza, and The Mount Of Olives – The Throat Chakra

Representing communication and the voice, the throat chakra can be found in three separate earthly sites – Mount Sinai in Egypt, Jerusalem’s mount of olives, and Egypt’s Great Pyramid of Giza. The Great Pyramid of Giza was constructed in alignment with the sun and moon and its celestial alignment corresponds with the harmony 4existing in our speech, thoughts, and mind.

The other two throat chakra locations on earth are key sites that are mentioned within the Bible. This chakra has responsibility for speaking the truth and these regions can embody and enhance that.

No Fixed Location – The Third Eye

Sometimes known by its Sanskrit name, Ajna, the third eye chakra doesn’t have a single fixed location. During the aeon, which occurs every 2160 years, it is believed to be found in Stonehenge, one of the sites of the heart chakra or Anahata.

Mount Kailash – The Crown Chakra

Sometimes called the stairway to heaven, the Sahasrara or crown chakra is found in its Earthly location on Mount Kailash in the Himalayas. For centuries, this mountain range has been linked with impressive powers, not least because of its towering height.

The crown chakra is linked with wisdom, knowledge, and universal consciousness – a perfect fit with this mountain site. Around 22000 feet in height, this mountain is sometimes known as the roof of the world and it’s the Himalayas’ most sacred peak as well as the location of the full moon in Scorpio.

Due to its sacredness and its grandeur, Mount Kailash connects with the power of the crown chakra – its spirituality. In fact, this mountain is so holy to Tibetans that even trying to climb up it is believed to be offensive to the spiritual realm.

Now you know more about the seven chakras of the Earth and how they are linked to the seven chakras of the body you may have a better understanding of why you may feel attracted to certain places in the world, even if you’ve never visited them.
